Saturday I entered the Coney island sand sculpting contest. Got interviewed by a few people but I don't think I made it to any media I know lol. Daily news took pictures but I don't get the newspaper.
Made a giant tarantula. Kept flexing my new tattoo to people lol. Had to sort out for an hour break because I got a bit of heat stroke. Fixed it with Gatorade. My nose and part (in my hair) got sunburnt.
My arms got tan.
Afterwards, I saw the museum of interesting things. I helped out. The theme of the show was "Summer of love", where we watched real vintage films on 16mm.
Frankly, it was nice to sit down and relax after all that hard work building a tarantula. Oh, and during my morning "swim" (I only go to my knees), I found a crab shell.
The shell made it home in one piece. I have it sitting in rubbing alcohol. Once it's fully sanitized, I will make art out of it.
On Sunday I decided to waste some time during the morning. Went to union square. Was originally gonna go shopping at Trader Joe's but bumped into a street fair. So I went shopping after I went for a walk.
Had amazing Thai food. Found some great sales. Hung out on St. Marks place and went to my favorite comic book store. Got a vintage Alien toy. Still in the package.
Looking for the queen. I hope I find her one day.
Other than that, drew a few cats and comics. Too lazy to post right now.

Sound more like Heat Exhaustion (in severity: Heat Cramps, Exhaustion, Stroke), if you had experienced a Heat Stroke, you would have been rushed to the ER where they would have performed some interesting and intrusive procedures on you to bring your body heat down quickly.
Glad you're ok though. Stay Hydrated!
Oh and that all sounds like you were Living Your Best Life. ^_^
Must be a cultural thing to call it that.
And I have to live my life when I'm outside. I hate staying in.
Yesterday I thought I was gonna be upset because of rain. My friends and I battled it out to see the fireworks. Luckily we saw it all. With lightning lighting up the sky. My air bnb was only a few blocks so I made it home nice and dry.
Went on a few roller coasters. Had a few beers. Loved it!
Now I'm awake, 20 minutes before 7am. I think I'm gonna hit the beach for a dip.

Yum. Is it the cherry kind?
Cherry Lipstick, will make you feel so pretty on the inside.
Strawberry plastic centered with a crunchy flavor on the outside.
Berry balm favored insecurities it's selling worldwide.
Blueberry scented fakeness, giving more reason to hide
btw your not fake. I love the drawing.
It's the Katy Perry, Crimson Kat kind. Gonna cry when I run out. Limited edition lol.
I have Panther also. :)
Damn, I wonder what her viewpoints were.

Well, I do love make up. If I eat enough lipstick, I'll be pretty on the inside too.
But if I pinch myself really hard, I think I'm real. Imagine an alternate universe where we're all robots?
Or maybe you believe the philosophy that we're all fake. Solipsism I think it's called.

I have never herd of Solipsism before. Something new to learn about. :) And I love your art.
She's a fake. You have beautiful art work.
It's the philosophy that only you exists and everyone else doesn't. That only your mind matters.
Haha! She messaged you too, huh? Geez. I wanted to ask her what she meant by what she said, but I didn't want to actually engage her in a conversation. Lol. And you can already draw, damnit!
Hey, nothing wrong with being open minded. I take abuse from other artists all the time. My answer is, let me see your work? I act respectful in person. Laugh at home when I know it's trash from a judgemental garbage person.
Sometimes my jokes are too smart for people to understand. At least tarantula hobbiests like them lol.

The town parade went amazingly well. I led it. We even had a fire dancer and eater. I was the snake charmer.
It was great to get involved with the community. I loved that a lot of kids showed it. I think its very important that they get out and enjoy the arts, hands on.
My tarantula was there too. But since no one could touch her, I brought my remote control tarantula for them to play with. Kids love that stuff.
And almost everyone loved Chiquita, my banana ball python.

Jealous
Its wonderful that you enjoyed your day
Might be doing a dog commission soon. I hadn't been on Instagram in almost 2 years. Why? My phone has no space for the app.
I am really enjoying it! I get more traffic on there than Facebook.
The only thing I had to do, was unfollow a few annoying people from the area. Ugh. Some people are just worth not knowing. Totally fake! A lady was holding her newborn all dolled up. #attention? Lol
